MUA Heaven & Earth Palette: First Impressions

Hey lovlies, this one of the MUA eyeshadow palettes I received at Christmas, here are a few pics.

They kind of look like the sleek palettes inside, with the 12 pans inside and same sort of size.
And here is a close up of the pans in natural light. They are some really beautiful natural shades, great for a good daytime look, or you could use the darker shades for a sexy smokey eye for evening or day! I've only been able to have a little play with this palette so far, but the colours are really impressive with a nice silky texture and great to blend!
They seem, so far, great value for money!

RRP: £4
Available instore at superdrug, and online on there website here or on MUA's own website here.

You can find my review and swatches of the palette here.

Sleek's PPQ Palette 'Me, Myself & Eye'

I know, I know, I'm a bit late on the bandwagon, but when I saw this palette, I knew I had to have it, and so I bought it for myself from someone on ebay, (I'd give you the seller's link but they have none left, it worked out cheaper getting it from them which is a shame!), however my boyfriend gave me the money and said it was from him from christmas ;)
It's so beautiful!
Here are the pans, I really really love Lilac Allen, just gotta find a way to wear it!
I find myself mostly wearing 'Nougat' from the Sleek Au Naturel palette with 'Supernova' from this palette in the crease, I'm really into matte looks at the moment, it's a good look!
Here is from left to right; Barry White, Black Box, Salt 'n' Peppermint, Fade to Grey, Blue Monday & Supernova.
From left to right; Simply Red, Pink Beret, Primal Green, Chris De Burgundy, Lilac Allen & Golden Silvers.
As you can probably tell, or already know, their names are music puns, which is really clever!
I really do love this palette, hopefully I can put some make up looks for you in the near future.
RRP: £6.49
PPQ Me, Myself & I can be found here on the sleek website.

Sorry for the long break I took from blogging! Had a bit on an unexpected surge in being needed at work so really had no time to blog! But I am back, and bought a few things today ready to swatch and review for you guys!
I hope you all had a wonderful christmas! And if I don't get on here before, an even better new year!

Love love
 xoxo.

E.L.F: Mini Haul & Swatches

E.L.F had another code (it was a mystery gift one which turned out to be the Christmas Make Up Clutch Palette found here) so I took advantage! Here is what I bought;

Eyes

Here is the Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil in 'Bodly Bronzed' really like this colour! & The sharpener pencil lid is also a plus! Really proud of this for it's price!
RRP: £1.50 each

Lips
I got some of the new lip products!

Here is the Studio Pout Perfector, the box says it's in the colour 'Glow' but you can't get any other colours, so I don't know if they'll be bringing more out!
Here are the swatches, there's so much glitter! Makes me feel so christmassy! On first impressions though, not too impressed with the applicator, found it a bit hard so it's kind of hard to get an even finish, I'll have a play about though and see if I need a change of technique.
 RRP: £3.50 each

Here is one of the new Studio Glossy Glosses, I had to get my hands on 'Merry Cherry' with Christmas coming up! Yaaaay
Here are the swatches, really beautiful shade, however there is a bit of a stain left on my arm from it, woops!
RRP: £3.50 each

Here are the Studio Glitter Glosses I purchased, I got Ruby Raspberry (on the left) and Jeweled Jam (on the right)
Sorry for the flash! British weather wasn't on my side today :( so you can't really see the beautiful glitteryness!

The natural light was so awful today you can't see the glitter how annoying! At least you can see with the flash, the Ruby Raspberry (on the left) is much more pigmented than Jeweled Jam (on the right) but Jewelled Jam has yellow, purple and pinky glitter which is so beautiful! Whereas Ruby Raspberry only has pink glitter, which is more wearable :)

This is the best picture I could take! It definitely reminds me of the J2O Glitterberrys!
So much beautiful glitter!
RRP: £3.50 each
Here are the lip glosses all together
Again apologies for the picture not being the best! :( The Pout Perfector has more product than the glossy and glitter glosses, but they fit in your hand bag perfectly & have an amazing vanilla scent! £3.50 is so cheap you might as well try some of them out!

Want me to do a proper review on these? Let me know!
Until next time, love love

MeMeMe Cosmetics: 'Berry Crush' Lipstick Swatch

A little while a go, Superdrug had a 3 for 2 on all cosmetics, which was brilliant! I picked up this as my freebie;

It's MeMeMe Cosmetics' Berry Crush Long Wear Satin Lip Cream. I haven't seen a swatch on this so I thought I'd share it with you, it's such a beautiful colour!
Here are swatches on my arm with and without flash. It looks shimmery but it's more pearlescent.
Here are my lip swatches with and without light. I'm really in love with this colour, it reminds me so much of Mermaids! I need to go to a fancy dress as a mermaid to have the perfect excuse to use it!
This colour also looks beautiful when you dab off the excess colour so it's like a tint, it removes the bluey pearlyness and leaves a beautiful deep pink colour, which is a bit more wearable. :)
RRP: £8.50

I hope you enjoyed my swatches and let me know if you want any more!
Until next time,
Love love

E.L.F: Punk Purple Studio Cream Eyeliner & Normal Lengthening & Defining Mascara Review + EOTD

I felt kind of mean writing off the E.L.F Punk Purple Cream Eyeliner &

Line Lengthening & Defining Mascara, so I thought I'd give it a go!

Sorry for the blurryness! Also taken in normal daylight
The products:

Sleek Palette in Au Naturel in Nougat - all over the eye

E.L.F Studio Line Cream eyeliner in Punk Purple - Winged Eyeliner

Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner in Black - Winged but thinly by  the lash line

E.L.F Normal Line Lengthening & Defining Mascara in Black - Upper and lower lashes

Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light - brow bone
(and some random dark brown eyeshadow to define my brows)

Now for the reviews:

E.L.F Studio Line Cream eyeliner in Punk Purple:
I know first off I wasn't impressed, but when I actually gave it a go, it really surprised me! I used the little brush that came with it, and applied it like normal gel liner, okay, so the pigmentation wasn't great so I needed to kind of pack it on, but it was so smooth and really beautiful applies.  I really really love the colour! My eyes are a bluey-greeney-grey colour with light brown around the iris, so the purple reaaaaally brings out the green! Love it! Plus with having to build the colour up, it still looks smooth on the eye and doesn't feel heavy at all, which was good too!

 RRP: £3.50

E.L.F Normal Line Lengthening & Defining Mascara in Black:

This mascara is an alright product for £1.50, but it does'nt really lengthen and define in my opinion. My eyelashes are pretty long, they went through a stage of being short where I used to wear false eyelashes everyday, (not good!) but now they have grown back fuller and longer :) I'm not really impressed with this but it's a good product just to use on the lower lash line, as it isn't too thick in consistency.

 RRP: £1.50

Overall, I really like the eyeliner but not so loving the mascara! If there are any other products you'd like me to review then please let me know! Until next time, love love

E.L.F: Haul!

So, I'm definitely going to start trying to blog regularly again! I've got a job now so I can buy more things to show you. I've got quite a bit lined up too.
E.L.F recently had a promo code for 40% off, so I couldn't say no! Here is what I got:

Studio Line Cream Eyeliner - Punk Purple
Packaging: I love the little pots they come in! I have the normal black one already but though I would give this a try as it is new. Never use the brushes though, always use my trust E.L.F Small Angled Brush ;)
Swatches:
Both the same product, but the one on the right is heavily done, whilst the one on the left is just one stroke.
As you can see, this product really isn't very pigmented enough and needs a lot of build up to get it to it's full potential, which is a bit of a disappointment really, but hey ho! Can't really complain for the price tag I guess. I can't say whether I would recommend this until I've properly tried this out and worn it over a length of time.

RRP: £3.50

Lengthening & Defining Mascara and Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara
Woops, forgot to put my url on there! :(

As you can see I didn't take these out of the packaging as you can't really swatch these, although I did have a go of the clear gloss and I much prefer it to the Studio Line Eyebrow Treat and Tame as it is much lighter :) . I've got a feeling I wanted to try the mascara in the studio line that has a very similar name to this.. Nooo :(

RRP:
Lengthening & Defining Mascara: £1.50
Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara: £1.50

Studio Matte Lip Colours
From left to right: Coral, Natural, Tea Rose & Praline.

Here is the packaging. looks rather proffesional as I find E.L.F Studio Line always does, however I'm really awful at open these little fiddly boxes, and nearly always rip them! So I just have take them out.
Top left to right: Coral, Tea Rose, Natural & Praline
Bottom left to right: Praline, Natural, Tea Rose & Coral
Here are the products themselves. They have a pull off lid, and you twist to get the product come out further (just like a lipstick, but looks more like a chunky lip liner)

From left to right: Coral, Tea Rose, Natural & Praline,
Absolutely beautiful products! I love the texture of them and the glide on so perfectly. I am yet to try these out properly but will do in the near future and maybe do a few swatches on the lips too!

RRP: £3.50 each

 Mineral Lip Liners

Here is the packaging, I really like the look of the mineral range too, just a shame that I can't get into the boxes without ripping them! :(
I got the colours Peachy & Brown, here are the swatches.
Brown is on the left, and Peachy is on the right.
Really love the look of these, to be honest I just picked any colour, as I'm trying to build up my make up kit, and a thing I really lack are lip liners! I really do like the look of the colours, and I'm looking forward to using them in the near future, and to buying some more! ;) . They both use the twist up mechanism like the matte lip colours, so they look like baby versions of them!

RRP: £3.50 each

Mineral Lipsticks
Here are the Mineral Lipsticks I purchased, I decided to get the Ripe Rose and the Rich Raspberry, I liked the look of the colours online and they were what looked like the only ones without shimmer, could be wrong though! I really love the look of the packaging again, they look so professional and beautiful, my eyes lit up when I opened the boxes! (And yes, I managed to open these ones without too much damage to them! )
Swatches:
Rich Rasberry on the left, Ripe Rose on the right
I really really really love these shades. I don't normally really wear lipstick because it a) it doesn't really suit me and b) it makes my lips look even smaller, so as a tester I just dabbed some of the excess off to make it look more like a tint and it looks so beautiful! I definitely will be buying more of the shades to give them a go, can't wait to try them out in a shoot either!
One thing about this swatch is that with the flash it made them look sort of shimmery? But they really aren't, think it's just my dodgey flash :)

RRP: £3.50 each

Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
Packaging: It's a Studio Line product so obviously, it's going to look professional! The compact itself feels really sturdy and well made, very impressed! A lot of reviews I've read on this said it's a dupe for the Nars Orgasm and Laguna duo, but I haven't been fortunate enough to try that!
Swatches:
I don't know why but my hands look seriously hairy in this picture! REALLY don't know what's going on there! :( But back to the product! Both the blush and bronzer have a slight shimmer, so I don't know how you would really contour with the bronzer as I was taught to contour with a matte brown? Anyway, I shall give it a go eventually and maybe take pics so you can see.
The Blush is a really beautiful shade, I'm not one for outgoing blushes and like them low key, so this is perfect for me, as it is easily buildable. The swatches here are quite heavily done, so you could see clearly, but to be honest, it's good that they are quite light, because it really isn't nice being heavily contoured and going out during the day!
I might do a review on this, but as they're so many out there, I don't think it's really worth it? Let me know how you feel though!

RRP: £3.50

Studio Line Complete Coverage Concealer in Light

Packaging: Again really sturdy and professional looking with a little mirror inside!
Swatches:
All of these concealers were very light and cremey, but not highly pigmented enough for me, I had to seriously swish my finger around to get some colour on my hand! So they will not give you full coverage, and I would not recommend if you suffer badly with dark circles and blemishes I'm afraid. At least they aren't cakey I guess?! :(

RRP: £3.50

E.L.F Brush Shampoo

Woops, forgot to put my url on there again! :(

Packaging: Comes in a box, but I couldn't photograph it that well! Looks really nice though, and got a click up lid that's good too! Got a feeling I wanted to try out the Daily Brush Shampoo instead though! Second time now! Think I got a bit caught up in the rush of the 40% off! I needed to make sure I got what I wanted before it all sold out! :(
I will do a proper review on this in the future :)

RRP: £3.50

So this is what I got in my haul! And it's my first haul I've shown you! I've had quite a few but couldn't wait to use everything and so I finally did it!
I really do love E.L.F's products, and very rarely come across a bad one, plus their delivery has always been super fast for me, which is really good!
I shall hopefully be doing some reviews and stuff in the near future so if you have any requests please let me know!
Talk to you soooon, love love xoxo

Hey guys!

I'm so sorry that I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks. But it's all for a good reason!
Me and my friends have put a page together, selling some jewellery we've put together.
Planning it and stuff has been very time consuming with crunching numbers and what not!
Keeping it all shtum has been really hard too, I just wanted to tell the whole world hehe :)
So, if you could take a look at our stuff it would really be appreciated.
It's all food and drink themed, very cute stuff :)
Once we get to 150 likes, we'll do a giveaway. So that could be you!

NOTD

Here are my nails!  I think I saw someone have nails sort of like this before and I wanted to try it out ( I can't remember where though, so if you know, please tell me so I can give them credit!)
Here are the products:
Base: Rimmel Lycra Pro
Base colour under shatter: Barry M 'Bright Pink'
Shatter Polish: 'Glam Rock'
Top coat: Seche Vite.
I'm pretty proud of this look! It certainly looks better in person. I can't wait to show it off! Also, it's my boyfriends birthday tomorrow, so I'll have to do last minute preps of presents and make him some cakes :)
See you all soon!
Love love xoxo.

Beauty UK Shatter Polishes: Review & Swatches

Here are my swatches of the Beauty UK Polishes in 'Night Fever No.6' & 'Glam Rock No.3'

Here is 'Night Fever' over
Pinky: Rimmel Pros 'Posh Trash'
Ring finger: Nails INC's 'Jermyn Street'
Middle finger: Revlon's 'Passion Fruit'
Index finger: E.L.F's 'Coral'
Thumb: Rimmel 60 seconds in 'Black Out'
I'm unsure of this Gold colour, it's a very yellow based Gold with fine glitter, infact it's more like a metalic yellow? I can't really explain it. It's a nice polish I just don't know if it suits my skin colour, it'll probably take me a while to get used to.
For £2.99 it's a good price, and it does it's job well. It's got a wide brush, not as wide as the Rimmel 60 seconds polishes, but it makes it easier to apply than the Barry M Crackles, but that's my opinion. :)

Here is 'Glam Rock' over:
Pinky: E.L.F's 'Desert Haze'
Ring finger: Barry M's 'Mint Green'
Middle finger: Nails INC's 'Electris Teal'
Index finger: Barry M's 'Bright Pink'
Thumb: Rimmel 60 seconds in 'Black Out'
This is a light silver with fine silver glitter. I much prefer this one to the gold, probably because I can match it to more of my polishes, (I always wear silver jewellery and rarely gold jewellery, so that probably influences me)

So yeah, for £2.99 these aren't bad polishes, they would be a good addition to any polish collection, the wear is good too, I tried it just on my thumbs the other day because I was too eager to wait and it lasted quite a while even without a topcoat.
You could always buy these to try out before buying the OPI ones or just get these as a cheaper alternative, which I have done.
Let me know if you like these colour combos or want me to try out some others for you :)

Thanks for reading, talk to your sooon!
Love love xoxo.

EOTD & FOTD

Hey guys, I have a rather busy day today, I went to Morrisons this morning and I've just got back, so now I've gotta get things ready for my boyfriend's sister's birthday presents! I love birthdays so much but they work out so expensive! Super annoying. So while I have a few minutes I took a picture of my eye make up for you;

And this is a picture of my whole face. Unfortunately, whenever I take a picture of my face from the front, my nose always looks wonky? It's getting worse as I get older. I've never really understood it, lol!
Anywaaaay, here's a list of products used.
Face:
E45 moisturiser.
Rimmel lasting finish foundation in 'Ivory'.
MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NC35
E.L.F mineral blush colour 'Bliss'
E.L.F shimmer palette as a highlighter (above cheekbones and brow bone.)
E.l.F all over cover stick in 'Apricot Beige' over my blemishes.

Eyes:
E.L.F shimmer palette on inner corners.
Bella Pierre pigment in 'Champagne' all over lid & 'Harmony' on the out corners and blended in.
E.L.F Cream eye liner in 'black' to line to liner upper lash line and lover lash line.
Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara in 'Black' (mine is waterproof, purely because of it being the summer here so it's less likely to smudge etc. due to being wax based :) )
E.L.F Treat and tame in 'light' on my eyebrows.

Hope you like it, feel free to ask my any q's!
I bought the Beauty UK silver and gold shatter polishes yesterday when I was supposed to be buying birthday presents for my boyfriend.. Woops! I shall try and review them and come up with some colour combo's either this weekend of the beginning on the week. :)

See you all sooon!
Love love xoxo.
