BFTE Cosmetics: Haul & Review

Hey guys, today I have for you a haul from BFTE Cosmetics. Firstly I would like to say how amazed I am as to how fast the package arrived, despite them being in America, and me obviously being in the UK, the package was sent the day after I ordered, and got to me in exactly a week, I was so surprised as I thought I'd be waiting about a month! Eeeee.

Here is my haul in total, I bought 5x Red Cherry Lashes, & the 16 sample set with travel case.

Lashes: #66, #102, #106 #218 & #583. There are $2 each, which is amazing! Now onto the best bit, eyeshadows!

Grape;  a medium to dark shimmery purple with glitter.

Peacock; a teal blue shimmer with micro glitter.

Zaniah (Pro Colour); a beautiful hot pink shimmer with micro glitter.

Beam; a beautiful golden yellow shimmer with microglitter.

Errai (Pro Colour); Almost greyish pink with microglitter.

Malt; Matte off white, reminds me of a oatmealy sort of colour.

Overall, I am so entirely pleased with my order! Can't wait to have a little play around with the shadows, I've already used some of the lashes, I wore #66 on a night out and the #102's for a shoot on monday, they are amazing! I've never used Red Cherry's before however I'm so glad that I did.

BFTE have over 400 colours, so really, you can't go wrong, I can't wait to purchase more for my kit!

Layer Up: Models Own Indian Ocean and Barry M Cyan Blue

Hello my lovlies, time for another layer up! 

I thought that the bright blue would bring out the beautiful pink shimmer, and it did! 

I'm so pleased with how it turned out, and how changing the base colour can make such a difference!

EOTD & Little Photoshopping Experiment.

For this picture I used Kiss My Sass Cosmetics in Drama Queen, Nutmeg & Cocoa. I'm also  demi lashes from Sera G, they also have an ebay too. Their eyelashes are great quality and a really great price too!
  I really love wearing this sort of look to work, it's quite quick and simple, and isn't regarded as too ott.

As you may be able to tell, I have retouched my skin ever so slightly, I just feel like it gives a better finish to the photo and my skin was looking rather bad. I would love to know your thoughts on if you prefer them to look like this or would you prefer them au naturel?

The silver base really brings out the pink shimmer but it is so hard to photograph :(

This combo is fab for going out, can't wait to wear it when I'm next out!

Nivea: Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream Review

Hello my lovlies, today I have something from the Nivea Pure & Natural range.

I picked up this a couple of months ago, and have been testing it ever since, and I must say I've been very pleased!

The texture of this product is very light, with quite a heavy floral scent that might not be for everyone, however it does dull down throughout the day. I use this just before bed and in the morning before putting on my face primer. This product is said to have argan oil, aloe vera, aswell as 95% of the ingredients being natural.

Even though my face can be a bit dry at times this still does a great job for me, and it smells a lot better than the usual E45 cream I use. There's a few varieties depending on skin types / conditions and also available in a night cream. 

Pros: 

- It really makes you feel moisturised, and lasts.

-Smells good (to me anyway)

-Good amount of product for price.

-Variety of products to suit different people.

- Mostly natural ingredients

- No silicones, colourants or mineral oils.

-Little amount of product goes a long way.

Cons:

-Smell may not be for everyone.

-Does leave me looking / feeling a bit greasy in the morning after use before bed.

-Container is glass.

Overall, I am super pleased with this product, and don't think I'll be going back to the e45 cream that I'm used to. I can't wait to try some of the other products from this range. I did buy the tinted moisturiser but in the wrong colour now I don't know what to do with it! :( 

At £5.10 this product is a bargain. It is currently £3.40 at boots now, go! 

Models Own: Indian Ocean and Blue Purple Mini Review & Swatches.

Hello my lovlies! Today I'm sharing with you 2 polishes from the Beetle Juice Collection by Models Own.

Indian Ocean is a beautiful blue iridescent shade with pink and gold duochrome. Purple Blue is a glass flecked mutichrome consisting of purple, blue (as the name suggests) copper and pink too.

Indian Ocean is unfortunately rather sheer and takes quite a few coats to build it up (this is with 3 and still sheer) however, it is a great layering shade. 

I'd seen on another blog (I'm not sure of the name now, if you could let me know that would be fab!) how layering Indian Ocean of blue and pink made a real difference so I thought I'd demonstrate that for you too.

On the left is Natural Collections Topaz and E.L.F's Fair Pink on the right.

The one on the left is with the Fair Pink underneath, it really brings out the blue! And on the left wis with Topaz (you can't see how glittery it looked in person.) And with normal Indian ocean in the middle as a comparison.

This polish is thick enough to carry itself opaquely in 3 coats. In some lights it can look like it's a brown with blue glitter, but get it out in the sun and it just looks beautiful! 

All in all, these polishes are little beauties! A great addition to any collection, can't wait to wear Indian Ocean in the summer!
