MeMeMe Cosmetics: 'Berry Crush' Lipstick Swatch

A little while a go, Superdrug had a 3 for 2 on all cosmetics, which was brilliant! I picked up this as my freebie;

It's MeMeMe Cosmetics' Berry Crush Long Wear Satin Lip Cream. I haven't seen a swatch on this so I thought I'd share it with you, it's such a beautiful colour!
Here are swatches on my arm with and without flash. It looks shimmery but it's more pearlescent.
Here are my lip swatches with and without light. I'm really in love with this colour, it reminds me so much of Mermaids! I need to go to a fancy dress as a mermaid to have the perfect excuse to use it!
This colour also looks beautiful when you dab off the excess colour so it's like a tint, it removes the bluey pearlyness and leaves a beautiful deep pink colour, which is a bit more wearable. :)
RRP: £8.50

I hope you enjoyed my swatches and let me know if you want any more!
Until next time,
Love love

E.L.F: Punk Purple Studio Cream Eyeliner & Normal Lengthening & Defining Mascara Review + EOTD

I felt kind of mean writing off the E.L.F Punk Purple Cream Eyeliner &

Line Lengthening & Defining Mascara, so I thought I'd give it a go!

Sorry for the blurryness! Also taken in normal daylight
The products:

Sleek Palette in Au Naturel in Nougat - all over the eye

E.L.F Studio Line Cream eyeliner in Punk Purple - Winged Eyeliner

Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner in Black - Winged but thinly by  the lash line

E.L.F Normal Line Lengthening & Defining Mascara in Black - Upper and lower lashes

Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light - brow bone
(and some random dark brown eyeshadow to define my brows)

Now for the reviews:

E.L.F Studio Line Cream eyeliner in Punk Purple:
I know first off I wasn't impressed, but when I actually gave it a go, it really surprised me! I used the little brush that came with it, and applied it like normal gel liner, okay, so the pigmentation wasn't great so I needed to kind of pack it on, but it was so smooth and really beautiful applies.  I really really love the colour! My eyes are a bluey-greeney-grey colour with light brown around the iris, so the purple reaaaaally brings out the green! Love it! Plus with having to build the colour up, it still looks smooth on the eye and doesn't feel heavy at all, which was good too!

 RRP: £3.50

E.L.F Normal Line Lengthening & Defining Mascara in Black:

This mascara is an alright product for £1.50, but it does'nt really lengthen and define in my opinion. My eyelashes are pretty long, they went through a stage of being short where I used to wear false eyelashes everyday, (not good!) but now they have grown back fuller and longer :) I'm not really impressed with this but it's a good product just to use on the lower lash line, as it isn't too thick in consistency.

 RRP: £1.50

Overall, I really like the eyeliner but not so loving the mascara! If there are any other products you'd like me to review then please let me know! Until next time, love love

E.L.F: Haul!

So, I'm definitely going to start trying to blog regularly again! I've got a job now so I can buy more things to show you. I've got quite a bit lined up too.
E.L.F recently had a promo code for 40% off, so I couldn't say no! Here is what I got:

Studio Line Cream Eyeliner - Punk Purple
Packaging: I love the little pots they come in! I have the normal black one already but though I would give this a try as it is new. Never use the brushes though, always use my trust E.L.F Small Angled Brush ;)
Swatches:
Both the same product, but the one on the right is heavily done, whilst the one on the left is just one stroke.
As you can see, this product really isn't very pigmented enough and needs a lot of build up to get it to it's full potential, which is a bit of a disappointment really, but hey ho! Can't really complain for the price tag I guess. I can't say whether I would recommend this until I've properly tried this out and worn it over a length of time.

RRP: £3.50

Lengthening & Defining Mascara and Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara
Woops, forgot to put my url on there! :(

As you can see I didn't take these out of the packaging as you can't really swatch these, although I did have a go of the clear gloss and I much prefer it to the Studio Line Eyebrow Treat and Tame as it is much lighter :) . I've got a feeling I wanted to try the mascara in the studio line that has a very similar name to this.. Nooo :(

RRP:
Lengthening & Defining Mascara: £1.50
Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara: £1.50

Studio Matte Lip Colours
From left to right: Coral, Natural, Tea Rose & Praline.

Here is the packaging. looks rather proffesional as I find E.L.F Studio Line always does, however I'm really awful at open these little fiddly boxes, and nearly always rip them! So I just have take them out.
Top left to right: Coral, Tea Rose, Natural & Praline
Bottom left to right: Praline, Natural, Tea Rose & Coral
Here are the products themselves. They have a pull off lid, and you twist to get the product come out further (just like a lipstick, but looks more like a chunky lip liner)

From left to right: Coral, Tea Rose, Natural & Praline,
Absolutely beautiful products! I love the texture of them and the glide on so perfectly. I am yet to try these out properly but will do in the near future and maybe do a few swatches on the lips too!

RRP: £3.50 each

 Mineral Lip Liners

Here is the packaging, I really like the look of the mineral range too, just a shame that I can't get into the boxes without ripping them! :(
I got the colours Peachy & Brown, here are the swatches.
Brown is on the left, and Peachy is on the right.
Really love the look of these, to be honest I just picked any colour, as I'm trying to build up my make up kit, and a thing I really lack are lip liners! I really do like the look of the colours, and I'm looking forward to using them in the near future, and to buying some more! ;) . They both use the twist up mechanism like the matte lip colours, so they look like baby versions of them!

RRP: £3.50 each

Mineral Lipsticks
Here are the Mineral Lipsticks I purchased, I decided to get the Ripe Rose and the Rich Raspberry, I liked the look of the colours online and they were what looked like the only ones without shimmer, could be wrong though! I really love the look of the packaging again, they look so professional and beautiful, my eyes lit up when I opened the boxes! (And yes, I managed to open these ones without too much damage to them! )
Swatches:
Rich Rasberry on the left, Ripe Rose on the right
I really really really love these shades. I don't normally really wear lipstick because it a) it doesn't really suit me and b) it makes my lips look even smaller, so as a tester I just dabbed some of the excess off to make it look more like a tint and it looks so beautiful! I definitely will be buying more of the shades to give them a go, can't wait to try them out in a shoot either!
One thing about this swatch is that with the flash it made them look sort of shimmery? But they really aren't, think it's just my dodgey flash :)

RRP: £3.50 each

Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
Packaging: It's a Studio Line product so obviously, it's going to look professional! The compact itself feels really sturdy and well made, very impressed! A lot of reviews I've read on this said it's a dupe for the Nars Orgasm and Laguna duo, but I haven't been fortunate enough to try that!
Swatches:
I don't know why but my hands look seriously hairy in this picture! REALLY don't know what's going on there! :( But back to the product! Both the blush and bronzer have a slight shimmer, so I don't know how you would really contour with the bronzer as I was taught to contour with a matte brown? Anyway, I shall give it a go eventually and maybe take pics so you can see.
The Blush is a really beautiful shade, I'm not one for outgoing blushes and like them low key, so this is perfect for me, as it is easily buildable. The swatches here are quite heavily done, so you could see clearly, but to be honest, it's good that they are quite light, because it really isn't nice being heavily contoured and going out during the day!
I might do a review on this, but as they're so many out there, I don't think it's really worth it? Let me know how you feel though!

RRP: £3.50

Studio Line Complete Coverage Concealer in Light

Packaging: Again really sturdy and professional looking with a little mirror inside!
Swatches:
All of these concealers were very light and cremey, but not highly pigmented enough for me, I had to seriously swish my finger around to get some colour on my hand! So they will not give you full coverage, and I would not recommend if you suffer badly with dark circles and blemishes I'm afraid. At least they aren't cakey I guess?! :(

RRP: £3.50

E.L.F Brush Shampoo

Woops, forgot to put my url on there again! :(

Packaging: Comes in a box, but I couldn't photograph it that well! Looks really nice though, and got a click up lid that's good too! Got a feeling I wanted to try out the Daily Brush Shampoo instead though! Second time now! Think I got a bit caught up in the rush of the 40% off! I needed to make sure I got what I wanted before it all sold out! :(
I will do a proper review on this in the future :)

RRP: £3.50

So this is what I got in my haul! And it's my first haul I've shown you! I've had quite a few but couldn't wait to use everything and so I finally did it!
I really do love E.L.F's products, and very rarely come across a bad one, plus their delivery has always been super fast for me, which is really good!
I shall hopefully be doing some reviews and stuff in the near future so if you have any requests please let me know!
Talk to you soooon, love love xoxo
