Boots & Superdrug: Mini 'Drugstore' Haul #2

Hello my lovlies!
Today I have for you a little 'drugstore' haul for you.
I bought the TRESemmé hair products from Superdrug and the other bits from Boots.

I decided to buy these as I'm running out of my current Aussie hair products and I feel like I still haven't found my favourite yet. Having coloured blonde hair which is very fine, it's slightly dry and damaged, despite using barely any heat on it, and when I do, it's completely frazzles it, making me regret going near my hair with anything hot! And that's despite me using a heat protectant oil, and a spray in one too. :(
I've seen a few good things about these products to I'm excited to try these. TRESemmé is currently half price in Superdrug so I got these all for £7.85 instead of £15.97
which is a right result!
I got these bad boys in Boots as there is currently a 3 for 2 going on. The Collection 2000 concealer is a repurchase, I bought the Rimmel Scandal Eyes waterproof pencil in Nude because I saw it in a haul on Beauty Crush's channel (click for the haul video here) and the Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake, on a bit of a whim really! I've been looking at them for a long time and seen so much hype for ages so I couldn't resist any longer!
I bought all these for £12.18 instead of £16.17 which is a bargain too!
I love buying new products when they're offers on in case they aren't my cup of tea, so then I don't get too disappointed. :)

If you'd like to see any reviews/swatches then do let me know!
Until next time
xoxo.

TAG - How much is your face worth?

Hey guys!
I've seen this tag a lot on the tinternet, and so I thought I'd jump on the band wagon, all be it a bit late.

^Here is what my everyday make up looks like^
It's in a bit of an odd order? Ah well :)
I've add pictures individually if there is already some on my blog, and/or to their product page.

1) E.L.F Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder £3.75:
I only use the blush of this, because I prefer a matte contour shade. I lightly sweep it on with a stippling brush, so I can easily build it up if need be.

2) Unbranded Concealer Palette from eBay £5.95:
I use the green shade on red areas of my face and the light yellow shade under my eyes, before applying foundation.

3) Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light £6.49:
I use the brown shade to contour my cheek bones with my stippling brush (which gives a good buildable amount of colour) and in my eye crease. I also occasionally use the highlight shade on my brow bone.

4) E.L.F Complexion Perfection Powder / Tone Correcting Powder £3.75 ish?:
I believe it's been renamed as Tone Correcting Powder? It looks like mine would now be associated as the 'light' shade and it looks like the price is a little different too to what I remember paying for it though, I guess I'll just have to go by their price! I use the yellow shade under my eyes and the green lightly on my chin, any concealer and a wee bit on my forehead.

5) FashionistA Brow Kit £7:
I use the light brown shade on the left with an ELF angled brush. On the odd occasion I'll use the dark brown on the right for the 'tails' of my brows if they are looking particularly sparse and the wax if they are a bit unruley.

6) MUA Heaven and Earth Palette £4:
II tend to use the shade '6' (according to my blogpost here) all over the lid.

7) L'Oréal True Match Foundation in £10.29:
I only use a tiny bit of this mixed with my Revlon Colourstay to make it match better... I was previously using Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation but ran out :(

8) Revlon Colourstay Foundation for Normal/Dry Skin in  £12.49:
I use this with the other foundation.

9) Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair £4.19:
I use this as both a base and for more coverage where needed.

10) Rimmel Fix & Perfect Foundation Primer £6.99:
Really in love with this, although I'm so tempted to try the Nivea Hydration Primer though!

11) Carmex Strawberry Lip Balm Tube £2:
I picked this up in Primark on a whim and I don't think my lips would last without it.

12) NYC High Definition Volume Mascara £3.99:
I wasn't too impressed with this, but the formula got a lot better and less clumpy, however it's gone a bit clumpy again. Luckily I've nearly finished it so I can try a new one.

13) L'Oreal Superliner £6.49:
I love this and have recently bought my second one, yaaaay.

14) Revlon Grow Luscious Lash Liner £6.29:
Not quite sure if it's made my eyelashes grow? But it's a nice pencil.

15) 17 Solo Eyeshadow in Ivory Coast £3.89:
I use this to set my concealer from the lid to the brow.

Now, for the total!
£87.56
I am very pleased with that! I know I only really use 'drugstore' products, so it shouldn't be that bad anyway, I am very please :) Considering I've seen loads over the £100 mark!

Hope you enjoyed this tag as much as I did. I tag you all to do it! (although you probably did it months ago!)

Revlon: Half of the Fizz collection swatches & brief review

Hiya! :) In Boots they are currently having a 2 for £10 on Revlon on nail and lip products, so I took the opportunity to pick up some the Fizz collection polishes, couldn't pass up the glittery look! Plus the scent! Bonus!

 Grape Fizz:
My favourite of the four I have, the colour on the nails is a bit more pinky in person.

This is with 3-4 coats

Appearance: Jelly base with pink, blue and purple reflects. Such a beautiful shade.
Smell: Smells like the grape juice you can buy (I don't know if it's just a UK thing and I can't remember what it's called right now.)? It smells soooo good.
Grapefruit Fizz: Beautiful bubblegum pink. 3-4 coats.

Appearance: It has from what I can tell, pink, silver and orangey-ish reflects with a jelly base. A really beautiful shade. I can't wait to wear this for spring. I also think it would look great with a gradient of the Grape Fizz over the top. Can't wait to experiment!
Smell: I wouldn't say it smells like grapefruit.. Sort of smells like sweets for me? But I really can't think what.. I think sort of like them candy necklaces you get? That you like bite off of the string?  I think.

Sorry for the out of focus picture! Woops!
Watermelon Fizz: A coral red. 3-4 coats.

Appearance:  Jelly base with orange, pink and yellow reflects. Such a great shade too, think I'll wear this mostly in summer.
Smell: This has like an artificial watermelon smell, a really nice one at that though. Again, can't wait to experiment with the colour!

Pineapple Fizz:
Lemon yellow, 3-4 coats.

Appearance: Jelly base with yellow reflects. Again, I think I'll wear this more in the summer. My least favourite out of the four because I find it hard to carry off yellow polishes, although I'll probably have to have a little mess around with it.
Smell: It smells more like pineapple flavoured sweets, real yummy!

Overall, these are really great looking polishes. I like the reflects in them rather than glitter, as it's much easier to remove than gritty glitter and it looks more grown up. I'm really contemplating getting the other four, although they weren't in my local Boots, so I may have to look around, or on eBay.
You can find the 2 for £10 on lip and nail products at Boots here, or 2 for £9.99 on lip and nail  products at Superdrug here.

xoxo.

Beauty UK Shatter Polishes: Review & Swatches

Here are my swatches of the Beauty UK Polishes in 'Night Fever No.6' & 'Glam Rock No.3'

Here is 'Night Fever' over
Pinky: Rimmel Pros 'Posh Trash'
Ring finger: Nails INC's 'Jermyn Street'
Middle finger: Revlon's 'Passion Fruit'
Index finger: E.L.F's 'Coral'
Thumb: Rimmel 60 seconds in 'Black Out'
I'm unsure of this Gold colour, it's a very yellow based Gold with fine glitter, infact it's more like a metalic yellow? I can't really explain it. It's a nice polish I just don't know if it suits my skin colour, it'll probably take me a while to get used to.
For £2.99 it's a good price, and it does it's job well. It's got a wide brush, not as wide as the Rimmel 60 seconds polishes, but it makes it easier to apply than the Barry M Crackles, but that's my opinion. :)

Here is 'Glam Rock' over:
Pinky: E.L.F's 'Desert Haze'
Ring finger: Barry M's 'Mint Green'
Middle finger: Nails INC's 'Electris Teal'
Index finger: Barry M's 'Bright Pink'
Thumb: Rimmel 60 seconds in 'Black Out'
This is a light silver with fine silver glitter. I much prefer this one to the gold, probably because I can match it to more of my polishes, (I always wear silver jewellery and rarely gold jewellery, so that probably influences me)

So yeah, for £2.99 these aren't bad polishes, they would be a good addition to any polish collection, the wear is good too, I tried it just on my thumbs the other day because I was too eager to wait and it lasted quite a while even without a topcoat.
You could always buy these to try out before buying the OPI ones or just get these as a cheaper alternative, which I have done.
Let me know if you like these colour combos or want me to try out some others for you :)

Thanks for reading, talk to your sooon!
Love love xoxo.
