Nivea: Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream Review

Hello my lovlies, today I have something from the Nivea Pure & Natural range.

I picked up this a couple of months ago, and have been testing it ever since, and I must say I've been very pleased!
The texture of this product is very light, with quite a heavy floral scent that might not be for everyone, however it does dull down throughout the day. I use this just before bed and in the morning before putting on my face primer. This product is said to have argan oil, aloe vera, aswell as 95% of the ingredients being natural.
Even though my face can be a bit dry at times this still does a great job for me, and it smells a lot better than the usual E45 cream I use. There's a few varieties depending on skin types / conditions and also available in a night cream.

Pros:
- It really makes you feel moisturised, and lasts.
-Smells good (to me anyway)
-Good amount of product for price.
-Variety of products to suit different people.
- Mostly natural ingredients
- No silicones, colourants or mineral oils.
-Little amount of product goes a long way.

Cons:
-Smell may not be for everyone.
-Does leave me looking / feeling a bit greasy in the morning after use before bed.
-Container is glass.

Overall, I am super pleased with this product, and don't think I'll be going back to the e45 cream that I'm used to. I can't wait to try some of the other products from this range. I did buy the tinted moisturiser but in the wrong colour now I don't know what to do with it! :(

At £5.10 this product is a bargain. It is currently £3.40 at boots now, go!

  1. I just purchased both this Dad and Night cream and in Switzerland it is more expensive. Frankly I love them both. I have very dry skin and I like the natural flow the Day cream gives. The Night cream is a delight to use I am pleased with these creams as they bring back the time when I always used Nivea cream from their little flat round blue and white tins. It was my childhood all over again to inhale the clean smell of the products. Like walking back in time. And I can't say how thankful I am to find no parabens, no mineral oil and no fragrance as such in these products. I think both these jars, in glass, so no reaction to plastic, will last me until the end of the year so they are very economical and cheap considering their natural contents. Thanks to Nivea for pushing out of my mind once and for all these super-expensive crap creams with so any additives that you could clean greasy garage floors with them.
